Find Your Place in Local 569

IBEW Local 569 is built on more than training and employment—it is built on brotherhood, sisterhood and the strength of members standing together. Our committees offer opportunities for members to connect, lead and support one another. Whether through mentorship, advocacy, outreach or fellowship, these groups give members a meaningful way to be part of something bigger than themselves.

Alianza

Meeting: Last Friday of the month · 4:30 PM

(followed by social hour at Kilowatt Brewery @ 6:00 PM)

Alianza is a subcommittee of the Electrical Workers Minority Caucus (EWMC). It engages Latino communities throughout San Diego and Imperial Counties by building community relationships, supporting business opportunities, and strengthening connections with local elected officials.

Electrical Workers Minority Caucus (EWMC)

Meeting: 1st Saturday of the month - 10:00 AM

The EWMC promotes diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity within IBEW Local 569 while strengthening our union through education, advocacy, and member engagement.

Legislative Committee

Meeting: 2nd Tuesday of the month - 4:00 PM

The Legislative Committee focuses on political advocacy, legislative priorities, and candidate engagement. Members help guide Local 569’s political action efforts.

RENEW (Reach Out and Engage Next-Gen Electrical Workers)

Meeting: First Friday of the month - 5:30 PM

RENEW encourages younger members to become active in the union by focusing on leadership development, education, and building strong relationships within Local 569.
